You must customise your character when you first use the game. If you’re a girl, the app will directly select a character of the same sex. You can then customise your skin colour, hair colour, and the colour of your clothes.
To personalise your pirate, press the “Settings” button from the main screen, then go to the “Configure Avatar” menu.
