The Colgate Connect E1 uses Bluetooth Low Energy to connect to your smartphone. If you can't connect it, learn what to do.
If you already paired your toothbrush and lost connection
If you previously connected your Colgate Connect E1 to your device but lost connection, you will see a question mark near the toothbrush icon.
To get help pairing your Colgate Connect E1 to your device, try these steps:
- Make sure the Bluetooth is enabled on your device
- Place the toothbrush and your device nearby
- A low battery can cause Bluetooth disconnections. Press the power button and make sure the toothbrush is properly charged, the LED should be green. If not, place it on the charging station and ensure that the charger is plugged in
- From the settings of your device, turn your bluetooth on and off
- If nothing happens, reset the toothbrush
If you try to pair your toothbrush for the first time
The Colgate Connect E1 is able to connect via Bluetooth to one device at a time.
If you never connected your Colgate Connect E1 to your device and you don't see your toothbrush, try these steps :
- Make sure the Bluetooth is enabled on your device and disable it on any other devices around.
- Place the toothbrush close to your device.
- A low battery can cause Bluetooth disconnections. Press the power button and make sure the toothbrush is properly charged, the LED should be green. If not, place it on the charging station and ensure that the charger is plugged in.
- If nothing happens, reset the toothbrush. The toothbrush should appear in the list.
If it appears in the list after the reset but can't connect, the toothbrush may be connected to another device:
- Forget your toothbrush or disable the Bluetooth on other devices.
- Try again to connect your current device.
If you still can't pair or connect your toothbrush
- If you previously connected your toothbrush to your device, forget it from the settings of the Colgate Connect App, then try to pair and connect it again.
- If you can't pair your toothbrush with your device, try to pair and connect it with another device.
- Check that your toothbrush supports your device.
