Colgate Smile has launched! The Colgate Smile app is now more efficient and more stable for better brushing experiences!
Let us highlight what are the changes:
One profile, one toothbrush
You can have multiple profiles on your Colgate Smile app! But from now on, one profile can only register one toothbrush at a time! Every member of the family can have his own profile and follow his evolution.
The journal tab is one of our latest features that allows you to better track your oral health.
When you enter this tab, you will first be presented with a questionnaire about your brushing habits. Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will need to set your goals. Goals can be set for brushing, flossing and mouthwash frequency. It's up to you to decide based on your preferences.
Goals are not the only ones you can have, you will also be able to set reminders from the journal tab. Reminders can be set for your dental checkup or to remind you to change your brush head.
Your brushings will be synced automatically in the journal tab, but flossing and mouthwash goals must be added manually. If you tap on a brushing session, you will see the results of your brushing session.
Enjoy this new feature!
Challenges and reward systems
To thank you and encourage you to maintain good oral care habits, we’ve kept our challenges and made the reward system easier and faster than it was on the previous version of Colgate Smile!
Redeem smile points
A healthy smile isn’t the only reward when brushing with Colgate. With our smile points program, you earn at least 1 smile point every time you brush your teeth and even more when you complete challenges, use a short task, or answer the question of the day within the app*. Now that’s what we call a winning smile.
From the home page of the Colgate Smile app, you can view your smile points balance counter.
Please note that a brushing session must achieve more than 50% coverage to be eligible for smile points. If you brush twice within 30 minutes, we will combine the sessions and data into one recorded session. Note our Smile Points last a full calendar year from when you earn them.
* You will not earn additional Smile points for completing any challenge or activity more than 3 times in any day.
We’ve changed the check up screen for Guided brushing, it is now more detailed and interactive! You will know exactly where your angles were not the right ones and when your brushing was too fast or too slow.
We add below the 3D jaw a live bar progress to help you keep the track of your brushing for the 16 zones!
We’ve also added the calendar directly on the home page and removed the calendar tab. You can see the coverage and duration on your checkup screen and find all your brushing into the frequency chart! When you click on the tab with your name you also have access to your frequency chart.
A graph will be presented to you in order to see the summary per day of the number of points earned. You will be able to see your progress thanks to the points earned!
Still with the aim of giving you the best brushing habits, we have added the averages tab so that you can compare your offline and in-app brushing.
The comparison is based on the % coverage and duration of brushing.
Share your smile
A new feature has been integrated into our app! You can now share your smile directly on social media from the Colgate Smile app.
To do this, simply go to the home tab and scroll down to 'More Ways to Earn Points' cards, tap 'Share Your Smile' card and you'll be redirected to either Instagram or Facebook depending on your phone's built-in app.
If you don't have any of these apps, you will be redirected to their websites.
Last thing you need to do, smile!
How can I share my thoughts ?
Glad you’re asking!
There are multiple ways to share your thoughts with the Colgate Smile team.
The marketing team often conducts research directly from the app. Keep an eye on the home screen and look for the card named Share Your Thoughts to receive smile points by helping the team create a better app.
Can’t wait? At any moment, you can shake your device to create a suggestion or report an issue.
