The Colgate® Connect M1 toothbrush will notify you when to change quadrant when brushing your teeth offline (without the use of the app).
Each quadrant is one of the four zones of your mouth: top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right.
While brushing your teeth, the status light (or LED) of the brush stops briefly to indicate it is time you brush another zone.
There will be three indications to change zone when brushing. This, therefore, divides brushing into four phases of equal length, no matter the duration you choose (by default it is two minutes or a duration between two and five minutes).
The status light will blink briefly three times to notify you that the selected brushing length has passed, but it will continue to work until you manually switch it off.
If your toothbrush doesn't record your offline brushing sessions
The toothbrush is equipped with advanced detection technology to prevent unexpected ignition during transport.
As a result, your brushing sessions will not be recorded if:
- the brushing session last for less than 30 seconds
- the toothbrush movements doesn't approximate brushing movements
