Non-natural teeth will not be whitened. However, since these artificial structures do not absorb stains below the surface they are likely to remain whiter than natural teeth which may have darkened over time. Thus, whitening the natural teeth will likely result in more even tooth color by restoring the natural teeth to their original whiter state.
